Topview T1 Pricing, Explained: Credits, Plans and What a Clip Costs
A complete guide to Topview T1 pricing: how credits work, what changes the cost of a clip, how T1 compares with other video models, how to budget a project, and which plan or credit pack fits you.
Topview T1 Team

Topview T1 is priced in credits rather than a flat fee per video. That makes it flexible, since you pay only for the clips you generate, but it also raises fair questions: what decides the cost of a clip, how far a plan will go, and how T1 compares with other models.
This guide answers all of them, from the basics of credits to budgeting a full project.
How credits work
Credits are the single currency for everything in the Topview T1 studio. You add credits to your account with a subscription or a one-time pack, and each generation uses a set number of them.
- One balance for every model. The same credits work for Topview T1 and for every other video and image model in the studio.
- You see the cost first. The Generate button shows the exact credit quote for your current settings before you start.
- You pay only for results. If a generation fails, the credits for it go back to your balance.
What decides the cost of a T1 clip
Three settings decide the cost of a Topview T1 clip.
1. Duration
Topview T1 creates clips from 4 to 30 seconds, and the cost grows in step with the length. A 20-second clip costs about twice as much as a 10-second clip at the same resolution. Quotes for T1 are rounded up to a tidy multiple of five credits.
2. Resolution
Topview T1 offers two resolutions:
- 720p (HD): the lower-cost option, ideal for drafts, social clips and anything watched on a phone.
- 1080p (Full HD): costs considerably more than 720p and is best kept for final versions, large screens and client work.
3. Model
Every model in the studio has its own rate. Topview T1 is one of the lower-cost premium options:
| Compared with | At 720p | At 1080p |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 | T1 costs fewer credits | T1 costs fewer credits |
| Seedance 2.0 | T1 costs fewer credits | T1 costs fewer credits |
| Veo 3 | T1 costs fewer credits | T1 costs fewer credits |
| Kling 4.0 | T1 costs fewer credits | Kling 4.0 costs fewer credits |
T1 also runs up to 30 seconds per clip, longer than Seedance 2.0 and Veo 3 allow in the studio. For a model-by-model breakdown, see Topview T1 vs Seedance 2.5 and Topview T1 vs Kling 4.0.
What does not change the cost
- Aspect ratio. 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9 all cost the same.
- Prompt length. A detailed prompt costs the same as a short one, so describe your scene fully.
- Reference image. Starting from an image costs the same as starting from text.
- Audio. Sound is generated with the video at no extra cost.
See the exact cost before you generate
You never have to work out a price by hand. Open the studio, choose your duration and resolution, and the Generate button shows the quote. Change a setting and the quote updates straight away. Nothing is charged until you press Generate.
Ways to buy credits
The pricing page offers several ways to add credits.
| Option | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | A fresh credit allowance every month | Creators who publish regularly |
| Annual subscription | A year of credits at a lower price per credit than monthly | Frequent creators who want the best rate |
| One-time credit pack | Buy once, no subscription; credits stay valid for a year | Occasional projects, testing, topping up |
| Team plans | Shared credits for a group | Studios, agencies and marketing teams |
Two rules of thumb:
- Larger plans cost less per credit. The price per credit falls as you move up the plans, and annual billing costs less per credit than monthly.
- Packs and subscriptions work together. If a project runs over your monthly allowance, top up with a one-time pack instead of changing plans.
How to budget a project
Because the studio shows a quote for every setting, budgeting a project takes a few minutes.
- List your shots. Write one line per shot, with its duration and resolution.
- Decide how many takes you need. Most creators generate two or three takes per shot to find the best one.
- Check one quote per setting. In the studio, set the duration and resolution for each type of shot and note the quote on the Generate button.
- Multiply. Shots × takes × quote gives you the credits for the project.
- Add a margin. Leave room for one or two extra attempts on the hardest shots.
Example: a 60-second product video made of six 10-second shots, with three takes each, is 18 generations. Draft all 18 at 720p, then regenerate only the six chosen shots at 1080p. You pay for Full HD only where it shows.
Getting more videos from your credits
- Draft at 720p, finish at 1080p. Explore ideas at 720p and switch to 1080p only for the takes you will publish.
- Test with short clips. Try a prompt at 4 to 6 seconds before you generate the full 30 seconds. Most problems show up in the first few seconds.
- Write specific prompts. A clear subject, one action, one camera move and the lighting get usable results in fewer takes than a vague prompt.
- Change one thing at a time. If a take is close, adjust one detail rather than rewriting the whole prompt.
- Use a reference image for any character or product that appears in several shots, so fewer takes miss the mark.
- Generate in the final frame. Choosing 9:16 or 21:9 up front avoids paying again for a version you have to crop.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Topview T1 video cost?
It depends on the length and resolution of the clip. The studio shows the exact credit cost on the Generate button before you start, and it updates as you change the settings.
Is 1080p worth the extra credits?
For final versions, large screens and client work, yes. For drafts and content watched mostly on phones, 720p is usually enough and costs considerably less.
Do I need a subscription?
No. One-time credit packs let you use Topview T1 without a subscription. Credits from a pack stay valid for a year.
Am I charged if a generation fails?
No. Credits for a failed generation are returned to your balance. Your usage history lists every charge and refund.
Can I use my credits on other models?
Yes. The same credits work for Topview T1 and every other video and image model in the studio.
Does adding sound cost extra?
No. Topview T1 generates audio together with the video at no extra cost.
Is there a cheaper way to test ideas?
Yes. Use 720p and short durations while you explore, and move to 1080p and longer clips once the prompt works. See how to try Topview T1 before you commit.
The bottom line
Topview T1 pricing comes down to two settings, duration and resolution, and the studio shows the cost before every run. Draft at 720p, finish at 1080p, and pick a plan that matches how often you create. For most creators, that means a lower cost per finished clip than Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 or Veo 3.
